Arterex Expands Medical Manufacturing, Metal Fabrication, and Machining Capabilities with Acquisition of Adroit USA Inc.

Arterex, a leading global medical device developer and contract manufacturer, has acquired Adroit USA Inc., a vertically integrated contract manufacturer that specializes in complete medical device manufacturing.

Adroit USA Inc., established in 2003 in Pleasanton, California, operates two ISO 13485-certified manufacturing facilities in Bangalore, India, along with an an engineering applications development lab in Milpitas, California.

The company has over 650 employees and specializes in high-precision injection-molded plastic components, precision stainless steel and nitinol components, and fully assembled and packaged medical devices. Adroit USA Inc.’s “all under one roof” business model enables the company to deliver tailored solutions to operations of all sizes, from startups to Fortune 500 companies.

The acquisition of Adroit USA Inc. positions Arterex to provide its customers the benefits of a cost-effective, high-tech alternative production source to China, while leveraging Adroit USA Inc.’s existing capabilities and workforce to quickly and fully scale production.
